Eye diseases, conditions and eye disorders
There are many different eye diseases, conditions and disorders that can affect your eyesight, cause visual impairment and, ultimately, can lead to a complete loss of vision. Not all eye diseases and conditions have noticeable symptoms; this is why it is so imperative to have regular eye examinations and checkups as early detection often makes treatment far easier and more effective. Common symptoms of having an eyes disease include; seeing flashes of light, double or blurred vision, inflammation of the eye, excess fluid coming from the eye and unusual pain in the eye. If you experience any of these conditions then immediate medical attention should be sought.
Below we are going to discuss three of the most common types of eye diseases; cataracts, which is a clouding of the crystalline lens of the eye, glaucoma, which is a group of eye conditions that lead to optic nerve damage, and macular degeneration which, as its name suggests, is an eye disorder whereby the macular at the back of the eye becomes damaged. We will also discuss how these eye diseases and conditions can now be treated effectively using a very simple course of eye drops which can be applied regularly throughout the day.
Could invasive Cataract Surgery soon be a thing of the past?
Following on from the very successful TV Show trials on the Richard & Judy Show, shown in the video above, a revolutionary new non-surgical treatment for cataracts has been growing in popularity globally. The manufacturers, Ethos Schweiz LLC, now ask the question 'Could invasive cataract surgery soon be a thing of the past?'. Their leading brand of cataracts eye drops are called Ethos Endymion "Bright Eyes drops for cataracts". They were specially developed as a new cataracts treatment using N-Acetyl-Carnosine (or just NAC for short) which is a very special derivative of the naturally occurring neuro-protective dipeptide 'L-Carnosine' which is a great anti-glycating agent as well as being a super antioxidant that quenches free radicals. When NAC eye drops are administered to the eyes, they penetrate through the cornea into the aqueous humour below and go to work directly; protecting the lipid tissues of the eye against damage from light whilst also helping to reduce damage from free radicals and the harmful effects of glycosylation which are commonly associated with many different degenerative eye diseases.
Cataracts are the commonest cause of blindness and are a major problem the whole world over, with an estimated seventeen million people who are blind due to this very debilitating eye disease. To give you a further insight into the true extent of the problem, there are over 28,000 new cases reported globally every day. Cataracts accounts for a serious loss of vision for approximately twenty-five percent of the population who are over sixty-five years of age and about eighty percent of people over the age of eighty.
Cataracts are formed due to a cross-linking of proteins within the crystalline lens structure of the eye. By applying Ethos Bright Eyes Drops for cataracts, hourly throughout the day, they effectively deliver the NAC to the lens inside the eye which then goes to work to reverse this cross-linking of proteins and thus restore the eye's natural lens back to full clarity one again. Although cataracts surgery is one of the most successful operations ever, approximately 1% of all operations can still go wrong and leave the patient blind in one eye. That's approximately one person in every hundred people operated on. Conversely, NAC eye drops for cataracts are non-invasive and have no know contraindications or adverse side-effects. The other added bonus is that you can treat yourself, in the comfort of your own home, and without the need to visit a hospital or to undergo an eye operation.
Bright Eyes Drops were first introduced to Europe by the world-leading biochemist Professor Steven Charles Gallant who had studied the many different effects and benefits of L-Carnosine ever since he first graduated. His colleague, Professor Alexander Boldyrev in Moscow, had first discovered the positive effects that N-Acetyl-Carnosine and NAC eye drops had on dissolving cataracts in 1988. Steven said that when his father first discovered that he had cataracts he really didn't relish the thought of going under the knife and having the operation so Steven tried to procure some of the drops for him but, at that time, they unfortunately weren't readily available. So reluctantly his father had to undergo the cataracts surgery but this got Steven to thinking how great it would be to develop a new product for cataracts treatment which involved a simple course of cataracts eye drops instead of invasive cataract surgery. After many years of further research & development work, alongside clinical trials, Ethos Bright Eyes eye drops for cataracts were finally born. This very exciting breakthrough in medicine has already helped literally hundreds of thousands of people the world over to dissolve their cataracts naturally and without the need for invasive surgery and to thus enjoy much clearer and sharper vision and avoid their otherwise inevitable blindness.
Professor Wang in China carried out one of the clinical trial studies on ninety-six patients who all had different degrees of severity of cataracts; from mild to moderate cataracts, right the way through to fully developed mature senile cataracts. This test was carried out over the period of six months with the trial subjects applying just one or two drops a day into each eye being treated. The results were outstanding and showed a one hundred percent success rate on patients with mild to moderate cataracts and an eighty percent success rate on the patients with more mature senile cataracts. The twenty percent of people with mature cataracts who didn't see results during the trial would have also seen similar results if they had continued with the treatment for longer as more mature cataracts take longer to dissolve. Another similar clinical trial showed an improvement of 41.5% to 100% in the patients tested, again over the period of six months, and with sustained improvements noted two years later on. Since those early day trials, it is now recommended to apply the drops hourly throughout the day; 8, 9 10 times a day being ideal and, by doing so, the recommended course of cataracts treatment has now been effectively reduced down to just six weeks.
In the USA a cataract operation costs approximately $3,000 for one eye and $6,000 for both eyes. Eye surgeons will only operate on one eye at a time due to the 1% risk of failure as noted above. For those poor people who are left blind in one eye NAC eye drops are then the only option left available to treat their one remaining still good eye. One box of Ethos Bright Eyes eye drops for cataracts costs approximately $100 and the heavily subsidised six-week course of six boxes just $400 which is just a fifteenth of the cost of surgery and without any of the associated risks so offers truly excellent value for money as a viable alternative to cataracts surgery.
It is easy to see from the information above why more and more people are opting to treat themselves with cataracts eye drops, in the comfort of their own home, as opposed to going under the knife with costly and invasive cataracts surgery. But if it is so good why don't doctors, ophthalmologists and eye specialists recommend this type of treatment for cataracts yet? One of the main contributing factors is that cataract surgery is a $6.8 billion a year industry in the states alone and this figure is constantly rising due to all the baby-boomers now coming to the age where they are starting to suffer from these debilitating eye diseases. One, more open-minded, Doctor in the states summed this current situation up perfectly in the penultimate paragraph of his newsletter where he wrote:
The enormous benefits of NAC eye drops should be the topic of every nightly newscast and front-page headlines on every newspaper - but you and I both know that just won't happen. Cataract surgery and treatment has become too big of a business. With the oldest of the baby-boomers just now beginning to reach the age where cataracts starts to form, the condition will become a surgical "cash cow".

A fourteen year old boy who opted to treat himself with NAC eye drops, against the advice of his eye surgeon, said he never expected his surgeon to condone the use of using eye drops to treat cataracts as it would be just like asking Turkeys to vote for Thanksgiving...
This is the comprehensive list of eye diseases which Ethos Bright Eyes NAC Eye Drops will address:
Bright Eyes eye drops are safe to use alongside any other prescribed medication; just leave at least a thirty-minute interval between applying each different type of eye drops. Ethos Bright Eyes drops are 100% hypoallergenic and 100% free from animal ingredients and so can be freely used by both vegetarians and vegans. Bright Eyes Drops are also fine to use with both hard and soft contact lenses. Simply remove the contact lenses and apply one drop into each eye being treated and then wait for one minute for the cataracts eye drops to be absorbed into the eye and then put the contact lenses back in again.

New hopes for glaucoma sufferers in the fight against glaucoma
Glaucoma is the second commonest cause of blindness; cataracts being the first. Glaucoma has been nicknamed 'The sneak-thief of sight' as it is often a slow and gradual progression that leads to optic nerve damage and can therefore often go undetected until it is too late and damage has already been caused. This is why it is so important to have regular eye examinations and checkups by your opthamologist or eye specialist.
Gradually, over time, glaucoma will lead to the loss of ganglion cells in the retina of the eye which project the images we see to the brain. These cells convert the images that we see into very small electrical impulses which the brain then translates into what we perceive as our sight. When these cells become damaged by glaucoma our vision deteriorates and if left untreated will ultimately lead to blindness.
Now there is a new and exciting breakthrough in the treatment of glaucoma using the all natural compound N-Acetyl-Carnosine (or NAC for short). NAC is naturally occurring in all our bodies but it starts to deplete with age; approximately 10% per year after the age of 30. NAC is not a drug, vitamin or mineral and it has no adverse side-effects or contraindications. By simply applying the NAC eye drops for glaucoma into each eye throughout the day, they go to work to help repair the damage and reduce the elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) which is commonly associated with glaucoma.

What is Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and can it be treated..?
The macula is a highly pigmented, oval-shaped, yellow coloured spot near to the centre of the retina of the eye and is approximately 5mm in diameter. Its yellow colour comes from its high concentrations of zeaxanthin and lutein which are yellow xanthophyll carotenoids. Because of this yellow colour it absorbs excess blue and ultraviolet light which acts as an effective sunblock, much the same as sunglasses, to protect this part of the retina from damage. As we age, a lack of these two essential carotenoids which we usually obtain through our diet causes the macular pigment density to lessen which, in turn, reduces it effectiveness as a sunblock and then the macular can become damaged. Daily supplementation with zeaxanthin and lutein will help to restore the macular pigment density and ensure that the macular is effectively protected against macular degeneration.
The macular has two or more layers of ganglion cells and, near its centre, is a small pit called the fovea which contains the largest concentration of cone cells within the eye; these are high acuity photoreceptors and are responsible for our central high resolution vision. Within the fovea lies the foveola which is approximately 0.35mm in diameter and in this area the cone cells are longer, slimmer and more densely packed than anywhere else in the retina which gives this area of the eye the highest possible visual acuity.
Macular degeneration is a disease caused by the progressive destruction of the macular. The texts books say that when the macular becomes damaged it is irreversible. Usually one eye will be affected before the other and is usually first noticed when straight lines start to appear wavy or distorted or the centre part of your vision becomes distorted. Other symptoms can include dark blurry areas or a complete white out appears in the centre of your vision and may also be accompanied by diminished or changed colour perception. As soon as these symptoms are noticed in one eye it is very highly recommended to start supplementation with zeaxanthin and lutein which should stop the remaining good eye from degenerating the same way. The most effective delivery mechanism is to use a sublingual zeaxanthin and lutein spray which is simply sprayed under the tongue and delivers the zeaxanthin and lutein directly to the eyes in approximately 2 minutes; this method is 900 times more effective than taking tablets or capsules.
The good news is that there is now anecdotal evidence that NAC eye drops containing N-Acetyl-Carnosine combined with daily supplementation with 99.9% Pure L-Carnosine can actually start to repair, and even begin to reverse, the damage to the cells within the macular. These Carnosine derivatives posses the unique ability to rejuvenate and regenerate damaged cells. Patients have reported that their symptoms have improved between six to twelve months of treatment using this unique combination of NAC eye drops, zeaxanthin and lutein sublingual oral spray and the L-Carnosine oral supplement.
